I make this much like the Olive Garden Minestrone, but leave out the pasta. You can add some small cooked pasta as desired in individual bowls. This soup has so much flavor, you don't miss the pasta.
You'll also find that these roasted eggs are quite creamy when you eat them, as compared to more dry boiled eggs. The whites will have turned a beautiful caramel color
This recipe originally had beef which I replaced with tofu. You can also make it with chicken. It's an interesting mix of flavors.
I noticed that all of the miso recipes here are vegan, thus were missing the dashi broth. Miso isn't miso without dashi, and I am not vegan, so I decided to upload my own recipe.
Dashi contains dried 'fish flakes' (bonito), just to warn those with special dietary needs.
This is a change from chicken noodle and to use up left over chicken or turkey.
This hummus uses the addition of tofu and cannellini beans to make a lower calorie version.

Using Eden Organic chickpeas, and fresh lemon and garlic this hummus will taste better than any you find in the store, without any weird preservatives. This recipe has a LOT of garlic, so if you like a milder flavor take out one or two of the fresh cloves.

Got this from my mother. I won't even eat pancakes or waffles from restaurants because the syrup doesn't taste like hers. Pure sugar I know but.....
You can also add crayfish to this recipe if desired, or any other type of fish that you prefer.
