Another version of my vension meatloaf... without using the pre-packaged seasoning.
Inspired by "Farmer Boy" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. SOOO good. The vinegar and honey caramelize to make this amazing sauce.
This recipe is delicious! The chops are a bit spicy, as the name suggests, but the chutney tempers it well.
This is so easy and delicious. Guys love it so much I often call it my "real men do eat quiche" quiche. I make my own pie crust, but you can substitute a ready-made one.
This can also be served for brunch as well.
It reheats in a oven pretty well.
I had 2 left over egg yolks that I threw in to use them up.
I modified this recipe to include some flour for thickening the stew, but the original comes from the Frugal Gourmet Cooks With Wine by Jeff Smith.
This dish is very good served with crusty Italian bread, buttered noodles, or just on its own.
One night I had left over bbq vegetables so I decided to do an egg white bake with some other leftover ingredients in the fridge. It was wonderful!
