I tryed this slaw from the deli in the Safeway & it was delicious, so I decided to try to recreate the recipe in my own kitchen. Turned out very tasty....
I love fried eggs but I hate all the grease that comes with them. I've been told this is like poaching and egg, which I can't do. I tend to "steam" them instead. It's also really fast.
My mom used to make this for special occasions. Technically this isn't a casserole as it is prepared in a large pot on the stove. It is delicious and we preferred this to traditional green bean casserole with mushroom soup.
Chickpea flour keeps these pancakes low-gi and the assortment of ingredients on hand makes them yummy! Nice to add to any meal instead of other heavy carb options. These are filling!
Makes 2 servings. I usually eat half a serving. Store the rest in the refrigerator & reheat in the microwave to make quick breakfast for a few days.. Good for diet to lower cholesterol. Low sodium. No sugar. Milk is used for extra nutrition. Low cost breakfast.
