A wonderful recipe. It gets better the longer it sits. I use a combination of red, green and yellow peppers, about 1/3 of each and the salad just pops with color. If you only use one color, I'd go with red.
A similar recipe is posted however the calorie count is way off.

you could easily make this savory by swapping out the sugar with garlic and sage.
