Low cal, low carb, low fat, Mediterranean diet

I got this recipe off of RecipeZaar.com. According to the recipe description there, this recipe was from a 1995 or 1996 National Enquirer. It was posted on 'Zaar by Spyder-man. I did make a few minor modifications (I didn't add green peppers or shallots and made some other adjustments).

I don't believe the Cabbage Soup Diet is a great diet to follow, however, this is a really good soup for snacking or lunch. It reminds me of the Cabbage Soup they serve at Big Boy. Also, I halved the recipe and it still made a TON of soup - - roughly 20 servings.

I did this in the crock pot, but you could do it on the stove in about 30 minutes cooking time.

This is my version of this soup (I've added onions and carrots to the original recipe). I'm not on the Cabbage Soup Diet, I just like the soup. Sometimes I'll serve it over brown rice as a meal.

I didn't follow any recipe just started with water, the whole 46 oz can of tomato juice and then started adding in veggies. A whole head of cabbage and the rest based on my liking mostly just 2 servings of each veggie added in. (See ingredients)
