Cheese has a heck of a lot of calories, but I love it too much to cut it out entirely. So I make this tuna wrap with cottage cheese to get the cheese taste without the fat. It is very satisfying and surpisingly low calorie.

I like to make this and portion it out for my husband and I to take for lunch.
Makes a good midday meal packed with protein and low in fat :)
This recipe is chock full of flavor and healthy fats. Canned salmon can be substituted for the tuna. Either way, it's positively delicious!

A simple dish that can be made on top of or in the stove. I've also made this on the grill!

I made this recipe up after having been to the supermarket and found scallops and fish in the reduced price section. Both items were marked 75% off, needing to be eaten that day.
We both enjoyed the flavours and I am sure that many variations can be made from the basic recipe. I bought ready washed baby spinach leaves, so the preparation was very simple and one pan cooking always appeals as we live on a small boat.
This is the first time I have tried to write down something I have cooked, so I hope the instructions are clear.
This is a simple mac and cheese recipe my mother used to make with a can of tuna added in for protein with small calorie addition. You can leave the rotel out if you choose to or place mild rotel in it. This is delicious. You can also leave the cream of mushroom soup out if you choose but I have found it gives the added feeling of "sticking to the ribs" so I don't feel hungry for awhile after eating it.
I could eat this every single day if only there were an unlimited supply of tuna... yum yum yum !
Would surely be good in a wrap with some lettuce/spinach or perhaps pickles. Can also be eaten straight like a side salad. I put it together when I really needed some protein.

This is a very basic tuna salad recipe that I learned while working in the industrial cafeteria at my university's student union. I always loved their tuna salad and found out that the secret is lemon juice (about 1 tbsp... I put 2 fl. oz.'s in the ingredients, but didn't know how to translate that it's really about 1 tbsp or less) and a dash of pepper (season to taste). It's not really going to re-create tuna salad, but if your's seems to be missing something this recipe is worth a try!
