This dish is high in omega 3's. Basa is a white fish I had never tried, but it was recommended to me by the butcher and I'm always interested in trying new fish since it is high in nutrients that my body needs. It is inspired by a recipe they had at the store, but their recipe was high in carbs as it included rice. Another mad scientist adventure in kitchen witchery. In the original dish the walnuts and parsley were mixed in with rice cooked in chicken stock.
Made with regular Cream of Mushroom soup, 12 oz can of tuna, Enriched egg noodles, peas, and skim milk. 1/2 cup serving size.
Variations are endless: Prior to searing, sprinkle w/salt & garlic; salt & cayenne pepper; fresh dill; onion powder; even a combination of all.
Tacos don't get much better than this. Using chili-lime shrimp, you'll get a lot of flavor for fewer calories.
This came out great but the quantities are based on whatever vegetables we had in the fridge. You may have more, less or different veggies to add. The most important items are the seasonings: soy sauce, white wine, orange juice, and roasted garlic. We also used olive oil to saute all the veggies.
