This is a great hot apetizer and you can make it as hot as you want by adjusting the "temperature" of the ingredients you put in - and you do it in a crock pot so how easy is that!?
Recipe sounds like more work than it is. It tastes very fresh. It is hard to calculate the calories b/c I make a batch of the aioli and salsa and only use a little bit. This is would also be lower fat by using a leaner fish like Tilapia.

I changed this recipe so it would be healthier, but it isn't as tasty as the original in my opinion. The original calls for 2 cups of cheese, 3 cups of white rice, and a half pound of ground beef.
From Cooking Light. Original recipe calls for Goat Cheese, but we don't like goat cheese, so we used feta instead. It's a fresh recipe that feels light and filling at the same time. I love it!
