I have cherries to use, and after much research online, I came up with my own recipe for making a low calorie cherry crisp.
warm and satisfying
Old time taste - but not the old time calorie count!
A yummy, juicy, sweet side!
A simple and flavorful lower calorie rendition of a traditional cherry crumb pie.
This recipe is on the back of the box. I used smart balance butter and cut the pieces small so it wasn't too bad...if you can stop at just one or two!
Quick and Easy, good for potlucks, etc.
Because I'm on a low sodium diet, this recipe is great because it's not loaded with salt like most recipes are and I don't feel guilty eating it.
