Gluten Free Recipes (Most Popular)
I'm going to try this recipe this weekend and wanted to know the nutrition values first. This is based on a recipe that I used to make with whole wheat flour, and I've modified it to be a gluten free bread. Wish me luck! I'll let you know how it turned out, and I'll add a photo later.
thick fluffy low calorie pancakes. ideal for breakfast. i eat mine with blueberrie. great for gluten intolerant people. to reduce cal further, omit large beaten egg and use egg white instead.
These "pancakes" are incredibly high in protein and have NO gluten! They also contain over half a serving of fruit inside the pancake's "batter."
Since our family began eating paleo I have been on the lookout for a good pancake recipe. Grain free pancakes can be pretty tricky, it seems they always fall apart or are dry, or are just not right. After experimenting with more recipes than I care to think of, I have finally come up with my own Paleo, Grain Free, Gluten Free version of Banana Pancakes!
Before we get started there are a few things I want to note. As with most gluten free baking/cooking you need to do things a little differently than you may be used to. Cooking and baking without gluten really is a totally new way of preparing food. So here are a few tips for preparing pancakes without gluten:See the full recipe at http://www.cloudywithachanceofsprinkles.co

A gluten-free version of coconut curry peanut chicken and veggies (served over rice or quinoa, with vegetables of choice. I like a side of avocado... and glass of wine ;) ).
Use an immersion blender to make the best mayo of your life... no "drizzling" of the oil... just dump, blend, and eat! :D
I am a sucker for decadent chocolate desserts, but most of them pack a calorie punch straight to the midsection. In my book, Choices Coach: Weight Loss Menu Guide, I share my 150-Calorie Mocha Protein Pudding recipe. This is pretty much the same recipe, but I used Dark Chocolate Almond Milk instead of original to make it a little richer and more indulgent.
I really love garlic and after spending 3 years in Spain both garlic and olive oil became a natural part of my pantry. it was no surprise that the first time I came upon a cascading pile of beatiful green, exotic curling garlic scapes (green garlic) at the farmers’ market, I couldn't resist. Even though I really didn't have any idea what do with them. Actually they are great anywhere you would use garlic or green garlic. This is fab use for them while the markets are full of many hued, nutrient filled spring potatoes.
Great way to use up leftover rice. Loaded with veggies melded deliciously with the creaminess from the cottage and cream cheeses. The chicken sausages are the perfect touch to finish it off and make it a full meal.
Bring the flavors of a Thai kitchen right into your slow cooker! This simple, flavorful and vibrant dish will have your taste buds dancing.
I love this noodle-free lasagna and the sauce is gorgeous (see pictures) It's from a recipe I tweaked over on Recipezaar and it is delicious!!!
You will need one 9x13 pan and one 8x8 pan to make this dish as it makes a ton of filling!
This is a fairly standard, but sugar-free, apple crisp which uses ivory teff flour instead of regular blended in with the oatmeal. I adjusted a recipe that came with my teffco order. Teff is the smallest grain in the world, and originated in Ethiopia; it's nutrient rich and gluten free.
Adapted from Nearly Normal Cooking for Gluten-Free Eating by Jules Shepard. Please take note that in order to keep the "gluten-free" status of these muffins, you will have to make sure to use gluten-free versions of all ingredients. These are delicious, moist and pretty forgiving muffins, add nuts, use flavored yogurt... dress them up so they are your own! Enjoy!
A great way to use leftover baked potatoes & beans, it also caters to a gluten free and vegetarian diet.
