So, I have to use up my okra, but don't have time to stand over a pot. Here is a slow-cooker version of gumbo. I didn't have any celery, so I put zucchini in instead.
This tortellini soup has a slight curry flavor. It is a quick meal and is prepared all in one pot. It's a family favorite and gets the cook in and out of the kitchen in less than 30 minutes.
This is my version of chicken noodle soup that I make whenever I have a leftover roast chicken carcass from the night before. Simply pick off any remaining chicken meat and the rest will fall off the bone after simmering. A great way to get an extra meal squeezed in.
Chowder is one of my favorite foods. I altered my usual version to creat a lower calorie, lower fat version that is still very yummy! It also freezes and reheats well so you can enjoy this corn chowder for weeks after making it.
delicious quesadillas with fried muschrooms and asadero cheese(this could be substitute with an other cheese mozzarela,fresco,chihuahua,panela,etc).

This is a converted recipe from a place I used to eat at as a kid called the Barn. It was in Wooster Ohio. We only ate there when visiting my grandmother who lived about an hour away. A waitress there begrudgingly gave my mom the recipe but it wasn't correct. So...this is my version.
