Excellent summer side dish or serve as a dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
A delicious take on cole slaw without the mayo from a friend of mine. Contains almonds and sunflower seeds. I brought it to a party recently and people were saying how good it was, not realizing I had made it. That's pretty high praise! You can cut this recipe in half, too. (you could also try Splenda, although I haven't done that yet).
I'm not normally a home-made bread person--I don't have the patience! But this recipe always works and is sooo delicious and easy!
There is nothing to this dish...simply trim the stems and ends, toss with oil, and roast...you can also use asparagus as a delicious alternative
Challah is certainly not the lightest of bread, but this portion-controlled version can fit with your diet. I make this at least once a month, and I've never managed to mess up this recipe!
My family loves these! I am a breakfast lover and have made a lot of recipes, but this one is our favorite!
Pair onions and sweet potatoes with tangy blue cheese and crunchy walnuts for a stand-out side dish.
You can change the seasoning to suit your taste or use what you have on hand.
This is a heart-healthy, lower-calorie pancake. The addition of whole wheat only improves the flavor!
This smoothie is made with Rader Farms three berry mix from Costco. I am sure you could substitute any type of frozen fruit for the berries, but this is how I make it.
You can use this sauce in spicy tuna rolls, or on a volcano or lava roll. The Sriracha hot sauce is the secret ingredient (the one with the rooster on the bottle!). You can be authentic and use "real" Japanese Mayonnaise (Kewpie), but good old Hellman's works fine too.
A great side dish that will accompany any main course OR terrific as a main dish all on it's own.
I love to make these ahead of time and keep them frozen for an easy breakfast or snack!
