A delicious take on cole slaw without the mayo from a friend of mine. Contains almonds and sunflower seeds. I brought it to a party recently and people were saying how good it was, not realizing I had made it. That's pretty high praise! You can cut this recipe in half, too. (you could also try Splenda, although I haven't done that yet).
I'm not normally a home-made bread person--I don't have the patience! But this recipe always works and is sooo delicious and easy!
Tiny in size, tiny in Calories, full of nutrients and flavor. Very filling for such small quiches! Great for parties, snacking, appetizers, or as a side dish.
You'll love the contrast of sweet peaches with tangy, creamy goat cheese atop summer's freshest vegetables.
Pair onions and sweet potatoes with tangy blue cheese and crunchy walnuts for a stand-out side dish.
Combined with chewy wheat berries, a tangy vinaigrette and salty Parmesan, this beet salad makes for a light supper or substantial side.
Tofu is used as a substitute for ground meat in this recipe. If you's prefer a more "meat-like" appearance and texture, freeze the tofu at least a day before making this recipe. Thaw the tofu, drain excess liquid and crumble it by hand.
These fluffy apple scones are wonderful alone, with butter, or even a light vanilla glaze. Perfect for Sunday Brunch.
You can use this sauce in spicy tuna rolls, or on a volcano or lava roll. The Sriracha hot sauce is the secret ingredient (the one with the rooster on the bottle!). You can be authentic and use "real" Japanese Mayonnaise (Kewpie), but good old Hellman's works fine too.
This is even great for a party and not cooking the noodles makes it easier, saves time and thickens the sauce.

This is one of my all time favorite tofu recipes. I've done a fair bit of tweaking to it and think that I may finally have what I am after. Great source of protein. Don't be scared by the big pile of spinach - it cooks down and ends up being a pretty small portion of the meal.
This is a recipe from a friend's mother. Think of it as a protein bar and it makes you feel better. You can substitute healthier versions of the ingredients to make it healthier and even more protein loaded.
