Easy family favorite.
In medium size bowl combine 2 oz. regular sausage, 2 large eggs, 10 saltine crackers crushed, 16 oz. (1 #) of ground round, and then add and fold in spices, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Then roll meatballs in 1 1/2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet, baking in 350 oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.
In saucepan or quart kettle, pour in favorite spaghetti sauce, and when meatballs are done, drain on plate with paper towels to collect excess grease, then place all meatballs in the sauce and heat on low for 30 minutes.
Then to serve, use brats or sub buns, placing 3-4 meatballs, garnish with parmesan cheese or mozzarella cheese and they are ready to serve.

I've adapted this recipe to be more Spark Friendly by using 95% lean ground beef. The applesauce adds moisture so you don't miss the fat. Using cinnamon and nutmeg gives a warm spicy flavor and the poultry seasoning adds a savory touch. They smell wonderful while cooking, too.
