By Low Carb Layla: Fried cabbage is basic staple item in the low carb world. Surprisingly I've never tried it until I made it tonight. It was so good! I feel like I've been missing out on something by not trying it sooner. My kids didn't care much for it but my carb-etarian Hubs thought it was excellent! I looked up a few recipes to get a feel for how to prepare and wound up cooking it in a very similar way I cook my Bacon and Onion Green Beans which are heaven on a plate (this cabbage ranks right up there). I think you can cook anything with bacon, onions, salt and pepper and it will come out fabulous! I served this with the Laughing Cow Steak and thought they were a nice combo on my plate. Bring on the cabbage! *INDUCTION FRIENDLY*
I bake these quick and easy treats in mini muffin tins. They're a tasty go along with soups.

Once you realise how easy it is to make tortillas you'll never want to eat store bought ones again!
This side dish works great along side any protein or pasta and is packed with vitamins!
My mother was born and raised in Bavaria. Our family loved red cabbage. She is gone now, but I've adapted her recipe with just the right ratio of ingredients to make it just like hers! The key is using red wine vinegar. This freezes very well, too, but there aren't leftovers when I make it for family get togethers.
I used the Daily Chef brand complete buttermilk pancake mix. I am sure most brands would be the same. Also, this is making 18 biscuits so if you make them larger or smaller you will need to adjust the numbers.
This is a family favorite that can be used for a meal or side dish. You can add tuna, diced ham, or chicken for added flavor and protein!
I had this when I was in PA on vacation and fell in love. My friend bought an Amish cookbook and it was included. We made a few tweaks of the recipe and it is Sparkified!
