Beautiful honey-brown coffeecake made up of pull-apart yeast rolls coated in caramel and pecans.
Okay, it's rich...but it's a treat for being good!
I'm sure that nothing about this recipe is remotely healthy, but the holidays are coming! It was passed down to me from my grandma who had a wicked sweet tooth.
A delicious plain sugar free cheesecake made with a pecan crust.
Tradition with a vegan twist.
I use organic vegetable broth instead of soymilk for the sauce.
Mmmmm.....Fresh rhubarb from the garden....a little sugar....a homemade pie crust made with whole wheat flour......yum! This is awesome pie, and I should know, I'm a pie lover!
This lighter version of an old classic is made with lower-calorie baking mix and ground turkey instead of beef.
An easy, low-fat favorite!
A far-too-yummy dessert to be eaten with graham crackers
A perfect holiday cheese ball made with blue cheese, onion and spices. Adjust the amount of heat to suit your guests.
This chicken is so good, the whole family asks for it all the time!
A quick and easy recipe for a holiday brunch or anytime breakfast. Fat and calories are a little high but nice for a special occasion. Using low fat cream cheese and crescents would help lower calories and fat . This can be made the night before and refrigerated. It sets up better when it has been refrigerated .
A delicious homemade pie, this recipe only makes enough dough for a bottom crust, I don't add a top layer to my pies in order to keep the calories & the carbs at a reasonable level. Since there is no top layer of pie crust I usually add some fresh raspberries for visual appeal.
I tried this recipe when visiting in Maine at a little country flea market and I personally am not a fan of Rhubarb. When I have a chance to get Rhubarb, I grab it now! Also my spouse doesn't know there is Rhubarb in it and he loves it. The Rhubarb and blueberries compliment each other.
These are cute and delicious! Also, they are a great recipe to make with kids, even young children. It's easy and fun, and they will love their own personal pie!
These are very popular in Armenia, my home country so I thought I'd share since we eat them frequently.
A sweet and crunchy taste for this terrific chicken dish.
