Easy Apple Compote
A basic recipe you can adapt to your taste (or craving). Play around with different spice combinations. I add to yogurt, smoothies, cottage cheese, or oatmeal and also as a substitute for some of the oil/fat in baking. Keeps really well both in the fridge and freezer.
