This is a great hot apetizer and you can make it as hot as you want by adjusting the "temperature" of the ingredients you put in - and you do it in a crock pot so how easy is that!?

Tasty but fattening- I only make this once a year for Super Bowl Sunday

Spread cream cheese in bottom of 8x8 pan. Spread chili over cream cheese. Cover with cheese. Bake in 450 degree oven for 30 min or until cheese is bubbly.

Using 2% Velveeta Cheese and Turkey chili, reduces the calories for this party favorite. Also makes a quick lunch with some whole wheat crackers, breadsticks, bagel crisps, etc.

Every time we have had a get together my friend Laurie has made this time (I even request it.). So, I decided to finally recreate the recipe myself. She, of course, uses the fattening cream cheese and other high calorie ingredients, but maybe this version will tide me over. Makes about 16 servings of 4 T each.

Kids love this thick chili dip that you scoop with chips. The chili itself is great as a meal or a snack, is low in fat, very filling, and contains the perfect carb to protein ratio. This is a wonderful outdoor meal for camping!
