Using hickory smoked tuna makes these burgers extra-meaty tasting. Great for feeding a picky family who doesn't want to eat your "diet" food all the time!
This recipe is highly substitutable — I used what I had in the cupboards at the time, which included using crushed Honey Nut Cheerio’s as the binder. Excellent as a spaghetti sauce, this recipe makes 8 servings, enough to freeze away for a quick nutritious meal during the middle of a busy week. This recipe was developed on the fly after I had already prepared the shrimp to be added to jarred spaghetti sauce, only to discover that we were out.
