Here's something I'd be happy to serve at any time of day. An added bonus is that it doesn't involve that much work. The creamy sauce makes a harmonising contribution to the dish, but leave it out if you prefer, though in that case I'd add some crumbled feta into the fritter mix. Serves four as a starter.

Something different to do with the lovely, schmuley beetroot! It's like carrot cake, but pink!

I added a dollop greek yogurt on top with a little honey, ginger & cinnamon mixed in.

This is an easy-to-prepare dish, best when had with chapathis.

An unusual but more-ish salad, nice as a side dish with cold meat but also good as part of a mixed sallad plate - I like it with tomatoes, chick peas and black olives.
