Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a 12 cup standard muffin tin with paper liners or spray with oil; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a large glass measuring bowl, whisk together yogurt, butter, eggs, vanilla, and orange zest.

Pour mixture over dry ingredients and stir using a rubber spatula just until moist. Add raspberries and gently toss to combine.

Scoop the batter into muffin tins. 3/4 full and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.

Place in the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven and place on wire rack.

Cinnamon would probably taste better, but that is listed for me on DAY 2, not DAT 4. Darn! And I might even use cinnamon even if it the "wrong " day. I adapt this eating plan. Most likely it won't matter. I am not allergic, "just" sensitive to certain foods.

These are really yummy for breakfast or a snack. I make them in small silcone muffin pans so I get 36 muffins altogether. I freeze them in Ziploc vacuum bags in groups of four for me and my son. Take them out the night before and warm them in the microwave in the morning. Just like fresh muffins!!
