Chicken Rice Corn Recipes

Only 237 calories each!!! I love corn, bell peppers, and black beans as a side dish. Nothing needs to be added. I thought adding chicken and rice and wrapping it all up in a low carb burrito would make a great lunch item. The extras can be frozen for a quick easy meal.

This easy and nutritious recipe takes about 10 minutes to throw into the crockpot.

I served this over rice with homemade creamed corn and some canned yams as another side dish. I've included the corn and rice in this calorie count -- didn't like the yams and didn't eat them afterall. The chicken and it's light creamy gravy were very good!

High in sodium because of the seasoning, but if that's not a big concern for you, this is a very quick but filling meal in itself and is nicely complemented by various steamed veggies.

I used organic canned foods in this recipe because they have about a 1/3 less sodium than their regular counterparts and better for you too :)

Made from leftover chicken or stewed chicken. Beacuse it is home made broth, salt content is not as high as the nutrional info is saying.

No actual chow was harmed in the making of this dish... Slow cooker chicken with white beans, corn, tomatoes, cream of chicken soup with herbs, water & rice.

This is really is a whole meal, no need to add extra sides!

Easy Crock Pot recipe

I had a few left over odds and ends to make Spanish rice and decided to use my left over black beans, too. This dish is really easy to make and fills you up. Add some salsa to spice it up a bit.

Nice easy and healthy dinner that the kids even love! Easy to tweak to fit your diet needs. Add beans or other veggies. Serve on rice, pita, tortilla or eat w/ chips!
