I used to make a similar recipe that I found in a Campbell's Soup Cookbook for my Mom and sisters as a teenager. Since I love having a crock pot I thought I would throw everything in and see how it turned out! It's stewing away and is making the house smell delicious right now!

Really easy and best with fresh ingredients, also great if you have left-over broccoli from a previous dinner.

Adapted from a Kraftfoods.com recipe to add more broccoli, broth and mozzarella cheese, and eliminate the grated Parmesan cheese.

A revision of my original recipe, the secret ingredient that makes this sauce creamy is Xanthan Gum, which can be purchased online or a health food stores. Xanthan thickens the sauce without adding many calories or changing the taste. Enjoy!

Yummy low-cal chicken with a creamy sauce and veggies, too!

Brown ham and chicken and add whatever spices as desired. I used preseasoned frozen chicken breasts. Whish together flour and broth in sauce pan. Add cheeses and boil until thickened (about 2 minutes). Steam broccoli and add to pan with pasta and sauce. Stir and top with more parmesan.

I found a member-entered recipie that sounded good but the calories and sodium seemed to be way off. I made some modifications to reduce the fat and sodium. The end result is creamy, tasty and accurate in the nutritional information (I measure everything!)

A low-fat take on alfredo sauce plus the nutty taste of whole wheat spaghetti make this a delicious treat.
