Energy Boost Breakfast for Lap Band
Use this blend of Chia, Fig and fage yogurt to get your day off to a great nutritional start. Loaded with Potassium, calcium and protein - via chia seeds, figs and fage yogurt. Easy to digest, not a gut bomb. When it comes to starting your day as a lap bander, my take is start it off right - fill the pouch with a good source of protein packed energy. Use this as a meal, or keep in the fridge as your go to "I'm hungry and have to eat right now" back up plan. It is not the sugary yogurt you may be accustomed to - so get over it. If you must have sweetener, use stevia lightly, or honey. Avoid No artificial sweeteners (Pink, blue or yellow packets) due to sugar alcohols they produce.
